OUR FABULOUS RECIPE BOOK, CURRY CRAZY, IS AVAILABLE NOW

A resource for lovers of Indian food.

Indian curries are one of the most popular meals in the United kingdom, yet the thought of making them at home seems to terrify most western chefs. This seems odd as the population of India is in excess of 1.2 billion souls, all surviving on curry, so there must be a fair few million of them doing the cooking without any fear. And that’s not counting the other countries, such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka or Thailand, who also thrive on curries.
The health benefits of curry ingredients, especially the spices used, are also well known. They are detailed in our Curry Crazy recipe book.
Articles, videos and recipes are mostly from others as we don’t know everything and it’s nice to get an outside view now and again. Please note that some of these contributors don’t have English as a first language and, therefore, their spelling and grammar might be a bit wonky. As writers this irks us, but part of the deal for using their material is that we’re not allowed to tinker with it, so bear with us.
This site is intended for the novice curry maker, not seasoned chefs. Specifically
it’s aimed at people who’ve loved curry for years but have always bought it from
take-
When it comes to the spices we’ll tell you which ones to use, how much, what their English names are and where to get them. This website will be constantly evolving, according to your needs which you can tell us about on our Contact page. In the meantime, have a wander round the site and get your mouth watering.
